Home Again, Home Again.

Jiggity Jig..... or however that saying goes.

Whew. The two weeks after graduation have been CRAZY. Seriously. A complete whirlwind. I will have to give a complete Argentina update when I have a chance... but sadly, that is not today. So, I will begin from the end of the Argentina trip.

I was back in Athens by 2 on Monday afternoon. I ate (NOT meat and NOT croissants. Argentina food wouldn't do it for me very long), caught up on roughly 10,000 emails, unpacked, repacked and left again by 7. Magic. I headed home and had a quick dinner with Mom, Dad, and Hilary and gave a very brief recap of the trip. Kristen met me in Alpharetta and we headed to Newnan where I quickly went to sleep.

In the morning, we left for the beach!! Kristen, Jess, Sara Sam, Wendy, Kaitlin, and I went down to Panama City Beach for a few days of.... nothing. It was glorious. I spent almost the entire time in either pajamas or a swim suit. Everyday we coated up in sunscreen, grabbed a good book and headed to the beach. I started and finished Angels and Demons... in three days!! (so good). Got a sweet tan... and maybe a sunburn too. Oh well. No makeup, no alarms, no schedule. Beautiful.

And on the last night, I did something a little out of the ordinary....

That's right, folks. Your eyes are not playing tricks on you. I did in fact get my cartilage pierced!!!! I have been thinking about it for awhile now and decided that a graduation trip with some of my best friends was quite possibly the absolute best time to bite the bullet. So I did! I made a terrible face because, well, it didn't feel like a massage or anything.... but I survived and have the new earring to prove it. :-)

Friday morning I woke up at... drumroll please... 3:30 Florida time to head back to Alpharetta. Yuck. Kristen and I made the drive together and made it all the way back by 11:15... not too shabby. Hilary and I went to lunch with Granddaddy and Grandma Joanne, who were in town to celebrate Hilary's graduation, and then hung out with them at their hotel for a little bit.

AND THEN........

Hilary graduated!!!! My amazingly talented little sister is a high school grad!! I was super proud to hear her name called and see her walk across that stage. I yelled as loud as I could! We had quite a crew there too, so that helped. Anyway, she is the bomb dot com and has wonderful things ahead of her. I'm pretty darn proud to be her sister!

Anyway. That is all for tonight, because I am tired. Argentina *full* update coming soon!!!

Love from one proud big sister.
Lauren
